Simply remove the old receiver and replace with this one, no special modifications needed to your fan housing. The new version has better construction and higher quality. Works with existing TR171B remote control.

Easy to install. Pretty much plug and play. Took less than 5 minutes to install. The staff were very nice and easy to do business with. We exchanged emails and the person was extremely helpful and really provided level of service I thought was extinct. Thanks so much!!

so far so good. the original receivers were a piece of crap as I had to replace them fequently.
