Instructions for unlocking the TV Mode:

1. Press and release the TV button. Remote is in TV mode now.

2. Press and hold the SET button until light blinks twice. Remote is now in programming mode.

3. Enter code 982. Light should blink 4 times to confirm unlock.

excellent 5 stars. completely happy.

I have not used the remote extensively yet. I previously had an "almost" identical one, & it served ME "Very Well". It later was broken, & I used alternate programmable remotes for quite some time before getting this one, to the end that I am just beginning to realize I have this remote and beginning to use it again. The remote is very useful in part to being able to control multiple devices!
