nice new control. unfortunately cannot get it to work. got steady light on DVD(red) code o17 and 024 did not do anything 030 caused some sounds inside the DVD player but did not turn off unit? will seek your help

I had one just like this but it has failed to work..guess I dropped it too many times.

This works for TV and cable box. Also, the cable box remote is not working either. So this does the trick for both. I'm just glad I found this website.

THE UNIVERSAL PROGRAMMER WORKED WITH THE PASS-THROUGH DIGITAL TO ANALOG CONVERTER BUT NOT WITH MY OLD WARDS TV. THE REMOTE WILL LET ME SELECT CHANNELS AND WORK THE CONVERTER BUT i WILL STILL HAVE TO TURN THE TV ON AND OFF MANUALLY. tHE INSTRUCTIONS DO NOT INDICATE THAT YOU CAN AUTO=PROGRAM TO A TV IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WORKING NUMBER TO ENTER TO PROGRAM FOR THE TV.
