Programming the remote for use with your TV.Some buttons on your TiVo Premiere
remote are programmable:
TV POWER
TV INPUT
VOLUME & MUTE (can control sound
on your TV or A/V receiver)
STEPS FOR PROGRAMMING TO YOUR TV:
Make sure your TV is turned on.
1. Press and hold the TIVO and TV PWR buttons simutaniously for 3 seconds, until indicator light lights and stays lit.
2. Press CH Up to scroll up through the codes. When your TV powers off, you have found the correct code.
3. Press ENTER button to save the code.
Due to the wide variety of brands and models available, some TVs and A/V receivers are not compatible with your TiVo remote.
NOTE: This remote does not have Learning capabilities, but should program to most TVs and Audio equipment using the method above.
All Tivo units for use with cable (will not work with satellite and DirecTv Tivos).
